Southern Sweet Tea Hard Cider reflects a slower pace of life with a balance of flavors no matter what you are doing, even if it is just sitting in a rocking chair on a shady front porch on a hot summer day. A gentle level of sweetness and a hint of rich slow-brewed tea that will both refresh your palette while keeping you tapping your toes in the dappled southern sunshine.
West Coast Chai Tea Hard Cider is truly a combination of flavors that wake up your senses. The flavor traditions of the East meet the imagination and dreams of the West. The result is a very unique and exquisite hard cider. A little spicy, a little sweet, chai spices combined with rich apple flavors has a rich, aromatic flavor that is instantly comforting.

Meet the Baron
Baron Johann Rudolf de Steiguer was a Swiss nobleman born in Bern, Switzerland in 1778. Seeking new opportunities and a desire
to create a new Swiss colony, de Steiguer led a group of Swiss colonists, and his new wife, Magdalena, to the United States in 1819 and eventually settled in what is now Athens, Ohio. The descendants of the Baron and his followers continue to contribute to the rich legacy of the region still today.
Our winery now sits on the a portion of the same land that the
Baron settled on with his family. Naming our cider for the
Baron de Steiguer is our way of paying hommage to Athens' rich history and those who followed their dreams and their heart's desire.
